A hallway reset in one colour

The brief

The narrow hall had accumulated filled holes, tired edges, and several slightly different white finishes. The goal was a durable reset with enough colour to give the passage its own identity.

The work

Loose material was removed, small defects were repaired, and high-contact edges received extra preparation. The same confident blue was carried across walls and doors to reduce visual interruptions, while the warm timber floor was protected and left as contrast.

Working in a planned sequence kept a route through the home available. The continuous colour now makes the hallway feel more generous, and the repaired surfaces give everyday handles, frames, and junctions a cleaner rhythm.
